What ever your hobby or idea of holiday activities may be; Aberaeron and the surrounding area of Ceredigion and beyond offers something for everyone.
Here are just a few suggestions:
Stroll around Aberaeron’s pretty streets with colourful Georgian houses. Wander over the bridge, across the river Aeron to the harbour. Take a walk along the pebbled beach at sunset.
Spend some time in Alban Square, Aberaeron’s central park with huge grassy areas and a park for the children.
Walk the many foot paths in the area, particularly the coastal path to New Quay.
If that’s a bit energetic New Quay is easily reached by car and has a fantastic beach, ideal for families with young children. You can also take a boat trip to try and spot the famous Cardigan Bay bottle nose dolphins.
Cycle, walk or drive to Llanerchaeron a national trust property situated approximately one mile from Aberaeron. Steeped in history and with a regular programme of events through the year, Llanerchaeron is a must for many visitors.
Watch the red kites feeding at Talsarn
Visit the coves of Cwmtydu, Cei Bach and Llangrannog
